In a small shop just outside of Huangzhou, China Shan Jun and his apprentices create remarkable copies of instruments made by Guarneri and Stradivari. These violins are masterly in every detail. Each instrument is hand crafted and hand oil varnished. The wood is carefully selected for its acoustical properties and is beautifully flamed. The varnish is composed of the finest ingredients and pigments available.
