Master violin maker Guan Kaiming, was born in Beijing, China. He began with a set of skillful hands, a pair of keen eyes, perfect ears, and the passion of an artist. During his nearly thirty years of in depth study in classical violin making, he has developed and refined his own techniques. His talent has won him multiple awards in international violin making competitions.

These instruments are expertly crafted in the Kaiming Beijing shop by experienced luthiers under the close guidance of the master. Beautifully carved and carefully graduated each instrument produces a tone that is at once both robust and refined and a delight to play.
